Abigail Sciuto used to be the Chief Forensic Scientist for the NCIS Major Case Response Team. She quit after the death of Clayton Reeves in May 2018.
Abby was born in New Orleans, and grew up in a loving foster family. Her adoptive parents were deaf, so she and her brother learned the American Sign Language as kids. Even though Luca was their biological son and Abby was adopted, they never treated her any differently, considering her their own.
She never knew her biological parents. However, she did get to meet her biological brother in 2011.
She went to Louisiana State University, where she studied sociology, criminology and psychology. Afterwards, she attended Georgia State University, where she earned her Master's degree in criminology and forensic science.
